1.11. Establish a systematic flow of transactions, install and maintain the accounting and internal audit system of the local government unit adherent to the New Government Accounting System (NGAS) policies, rules and regulations;

2. 2. Prepare the financial statements  thru the use of electronic New Government Accounting System(e-NGAS)and apprise the Local Chief Executive and the Sangguniang Panlungsod concerned of the financial condition and operation of the city government;

3. 3. Review, process and certify as to the completeness and veracity of  vouchers/claims/payrolls  and its supporting documents;

4. 4. Prepare an updated remittance lists and facilitate the payrolls  for salaries and other personnel benefits;

5. 5.Updates and enhance the Barangay Officials of the techniques, principles and procedures of barangay accounting  under the NGAS and prepare the financial reports thru the use of Barangay Updated Accounting System.
